When you pay to join Sam's Clan you receive a monthly box of high quality products, coupons, and future discounts on merchandise and products sold on the platform. Signing up for the e-mail list exclusively will not get you these things. You must join Sam's Clan.

The monthly box allows you to physically discover new Made in USA brands which would be impossible just by browsing our directory, while also providing direct financial support to these companies. When you pay your monthly membership we go out and buy products from these companies which increases their sales and helps them employ more people in your community. It's our hope that once you receive a product and use it you will help spread the word about that brand's American made quality to your friends and family.
No sample items. We send real merchandise. Each month you will receive a box containing 1-5 high quality 100% American made products for a man or a woman (depending on your profile). The box may also contain Sam’s Clan exclusive coupons to higher cost or larger items that we could not fit into the box.
Premium members either will receive more items in each box, or higher priced items, depending on what Sam curates that month. Higher priced items may include jeans, dress shirts, cookware, etc.
No, we are not a novelty store. We want to showcase the thousands of high quality companies that continue to employ American workers and make the finest American goods. You will not receive coffee mugs, snow globes, and pens from us.
We buy things at wholesale prices and many times are able to secure even lower prices due to our mission. We are not marking the items up like a retail store. If you were to buy some of the products in the box at retail prices you will most likely pay at least double the cost of the box. But we really don't want you to feel like the only reason to join Sam is to get a "good deal" on products.
No, we don't want to spoil the surprise. We can assure you that Sam spends a long time each month carefully curating and sourcing products for the boxes by talking to dozens of the highest quality merchants throughout the country. If you have any ideas for products or would like to have your company’s products featured, please contact us.
In each box we included a write-up on all of the products including the website address of each product, and sometimes even promotional codes for discounts on other products from the brand. We also have a company wiki linked on our site, with thousands of company listings and contact info.
Sam carefully chooses all vendors through a vigorous screening process. All vendors have legally guaranteed to Sam that their products are Made in the USA and comply with FTC standards for such a claim. If we find out a vendor has been deceptive, we will ban the vendor from Sam's Clan and take other appropriate action if necessary.
We want to support any company that is employing American workers and creating new jobs. Sometimes there are legitimate reasons why a company may source materials or parts from another country and we do not want to punish them for this. Therefore, we may include items that are not 100% Made and sourced from U.S. materials in the boxes, at our sole discretion. If we include such products, we will make our reasoning clear in the box.
Click on the "Get Started" button on the homepage or the "Join our mission" link on the top navigation. You will be asked to fill out a very short questionnaire, select what type of membership you would like, and enter your billing and shipping information.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, JCB, or Discover. We do not accept checks or money orders.
Unless you join on the 1st day of the month, you will receive your first box next month. For example, if you join on January 15th, you will receive the February box. We ship Sam’s boxes around the 15th of each month and you can see details on shipping below.
We ship via USPS, UPS, FedEx or DHL via ground shipping, but will mainly use USPS. Depending on the service, the time of the year, and where you live, it will take between 2 and 8 business days to get to your door.
We ship everywhere in the United States. Please note, if you live in Alaska or Hawaii, you must allow a few extra days for your shipment to be received.

Sam's Clan boxes are sent around the 15th of each month.
Of course, simply login and update your shipping address on the My Account menu.

A box costs $39.99 per month in a basic membership, and $99.99 per month in a premium membership.
You will be billed on the 1st of every month. For example, if you become a member on January 15th, you will be billed on February 1st for the February box, March 1st for the March box, and so forth.
Sam needs time to curate, source, and buy the items in the box so you can get it on time!
No, you pay what was listed on the subscription plan you chose.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel your subscription, please contact us. We will process the cancellation as of the date/time you submit the form. You will still receive the Sam's Clan boxes you have already paid for, but your subscription will not be renewed for the next month's box. For example, if you cancel on January 5th, you will still receive the January box, but not the February box, and if you cancel on January 25th, you most likely will have received the January box, and you will not be billed for February.
If you want to exchange a product because it is broken or there was an error made by us, we will do our best to be accommodative. Contact us and we will send you instructions. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds at this time. Not because we want to be difficult, but because we aren't marking the products up like a retail store. We would recommend that you simply cancel your Sam's Clan membership so you do not receive boxes going forward. If you feel like you have been billed in error, we will of course fix the mistake, you can contact us here.
